My name is Marie. I’m 27 years old and I currently reside in Norfolk, Virginia, where I was born and raised. I am half of the of the first set of twin girls to be conceived through in-vitro fertilization in the United States. This is my one and only claim to fame. I graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2007 with a degree in Historic Preservation. Since then, I took a detour into the field of human services, working as a service coordinator for Hope House Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independent lives rather than being institutionalized. For the past three years I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing and unique individuals. Recently, I made the big decision to leave this job and pursue a Master’s Degree so I can continue down the preservation path. At the same time, I am attempting to build my jewelry business, Luna Rosa. ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/pinkmoon11 ). We’ll see what happens! Whenever possible I like to eat  good food, bake things, play outside, explore the mountains and the ocean, practice yoga, read good books, listen to people and music, and find inspiration in absolutely everything. I have a tremendous appreciation for all things authentic, nostalgic, and soulful and it would bring me great joy to share them with you.

I have now unintentionally found you twice! What is this about?! I think the Universe is reminding me that YOU are my inspiration! You are such a wonderful person, and I hope to become someone of similar character. Carry on sweetness! 😉

    • Well this is a nice comment to wake up to:) I am pretty certain you are already a woman of sweet and strong character. I’m glad to say I know you even if it’s just virtually. Thanks for the random acts of kindness.
